THE CHALLENGE
We need a better narrative about childhood vaccination
in the United States.
Trust in vaccines is lower than it’s been in decades—a troubling legacy of the
pandemic. Policies that add barriers to vaccination, and thus suppress
vaccination rates, have been adopted across the country.
Without scaled-up approaches to reclaiming and reframing the public
conversation about childhood vaccinations, there's a real risk of erasing
decades of progress on ensuring widespread vaccination against serious
childhood diseases in the United States.
